DESCRIPTION:In this class you will make a sleeveless top using cotton fabric. \nLearn new dressmaking skills using the pattern provided\, pattern up to 49 inch bust \nOur tutor Clare will demonstrate\, help & support you get great results using your sewing machine. \nA perfect class for a confident beginner and a first step into dressmaking \nYou will learn about sizing\, using a pattern\, sewing curves\, setting your machine for perfect stitching\, hemming and finishing the neckline. \nYou will need: \nUp 1.5m of cotton fabric – We offer a 10% discount on all workshop fabric) \nMatching Thread \nNew Shop Location – 55 Station Road \nParking info: \nWe do have 2 short stay parking spaces to the rear of our new shop\, we must be mindful only to park in our spaces which will be identified as such. We share the rear space with many other businesses\, all with their own designated parking spaces – please do not park in these. \nNearest all the surrounding streets are Permit holders only – blue badge holders can park for as long as necessary. \nVisiting us for a full day workshop : \nPark in Swan Street car park (24 hrs) – 6 minute walk\, feel free to drop your machine etc to the rear of our shop before parking. \nThe nearest car park is Waitrose Central\, but this has a max 3 hours \nSneaky free places to park: \n200m – North Road (off Station Road\, by Bentleys Dog Groomers) – permit holder or 1 hour FREE parking \n250m – College Street (outside the Good Intent on one way system) – 3 hours FREE Parking!! \n  \n  \n
