DESCRIPTION:Let’s get you going on your new sewing machine or use one of ours! \nLearn how to wind the bobbin and thread your machine correctly. \nPractice stitching and see what your machine is capable of! \nYou will make a simple item such as a cushion cover or bag during the class. \nBring your machine\, thread\, cable\, foot pedal and instruction book \nIf you don’t have a machine – you are welcome to use one of ours! \nClass fee includes fabric and notions. \n  \nParking info: \nWe have a short stay parking space to the rear of our  shop\, accessed via Lyndum Close\, perfect for dropping off or picking up\, please only  park in our space which is identified as such. We share the rear space with many other businesses\, all with their own designated parking spaces – please do not park in these. \nNearest all the surrounding streets are Permit holders only – blue badge holders can park for as long as necessary. \nVisiting us for a full day workshop : \nPark in Swan Street car park (24 hrs) – 6 minute walk\, feel free to drop your machine etc to the rear of our shop before parking. \nThe nearest car park is Waitrose Central\, but this has a max 3 hours \nSneaky free places to park: \n200m – North Road (off Station Road\, by Bentleys Dog Groomers) – permit holder or 1 hour FREE parking \n250m – College Street (outside the Good Intent on one way system) – 3 hours FREE Parking!! \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Join Nicola from Stonehenge Crafts to make a gorgeous traditional jointed mohair bear or a fluffy flamingo or swan. \nMostly sewn by machine although some hand sewing is required. Sewing machines and all other tools are provided. Full instruction and guidance is given but you must be confident using a sewing machine as scant seams are sewn throughout.. \nKits are available to purchase on the day if you wish to make more at home. \nNumbers are limited to ensure plenty of individual guidance and support throughout the bear making process. \n\nYou are required to purchase the kits (mohair\, pattern\, stuffing etc) on the day with cash to Nicola – please note the cost depends on what you choose – Bear £35 kit\, Flamingo – £70 kit\, Swan – £70 kit.
